About Me

Kevin (Muff Magic) Brown was born May 14, 1978 in a little town called Flint,
Michigan. He is the 4th oldest child of 12 siblings. Kevin grew up in a good household, but was a tad bit crazy and a rough environment. Kevin always had great leaders around him, one being his grandmother Hazel Mae Ramirez and of course, his parents, Charles and Angelita Brown.

Growing up with Christian parents meant Kevin spent an average of four to five night in Church each week. While in Church, Kevin began to nurture is God given talent of music and started playing the drums at the age of 5. Next was the organ and the rest is truly history.

As time went on, Kevin realized he had another gift that eventually exposed him to a different crowd. He had the gift of reaching people of all ages, but the older crowds really took an interest in him at an early age. He would eventually be exposed to and involved with gangs, selling drugs, guns, partying, and the street life. Let’s just say the brotha started his hustle way too young at 13 years old. During these years Kevin started splitting hi between Church, the streets and music. He started writing, producing, and rapping.

People at Church spoke into Kevin’s life repeatedly telling him he was going to be a preacher. Kevin did not believe them because he was only 13 and did not want to be a preacher. As the years progressed, street life started to take its toll on Kevin. He was hanging with his older brother Charles and some neighborhood friends, and their actions landed them in jail. Kevin started losing his friends left and right to gang activity. He even lost several associates in one summer, which numbed him to death. During this time, Kevin also lost his loving grandmother Hazel, to cancer, which fueled him on his path of destruction.
